Environment Month at Raffles International School West

RISW focus month for the Environment is happening in April and many activities and awareness programmes will take place to support Earth Hour( March 31st), World Earth Day( April 22nd)  as well as to support the continuing aim of the school to reduce the amount of waste produced and energy and water consumed. We hope to achieve Green Flag this year through a sustained effort to create greater awareness and action and help students understand the challenges that we all face and become more responsible for the valuable natural resources we have.

Each week will have a theme on either Energy, Water or Waste and activities will include: No Lights Day, No Paper Day, guest speakers from PNSF Expedition and WaterAid, Recycled Fashion Shows throughout the school as well as a competition to create high impact presentations related to the weekly themes.
